Well, just as quick as things turned for the best....they turned for the worst. Last Thursday we called it quits. I drove to Scarborough, (which is an hour away from me) with a friend of mine and had "the talk" with him. I can't even begin to explain what emotions I went through when I was there. I actually thought for a few minutes that we could still work it out...HA! Nah....he lies too much, and not only that, but for the benefit of his infidelity. Not good. But what's done is done. :roll:
We ended that night with a phone convo and at the end things got a lil sour, but we still decided to be "friends." I told him then and there that was cliche and that we should be straight with each other and say we're not going to be friends if that's the case. We agreed that we would be friends....ugh....we haven't really talked since, cept a few messeges on the ole messenger. Nothing to thought provoking, (which is good).
I'm moving on. It's a lil tough. At least I know that I was true and pure with him, and my love was real. It's not the greatest feeling to find out that when you give your all into a relationship and you're getting nothing in return because his energy is going somewhere else. *sighs* But what's important, is staying true to yourself and not letting people like that burn your energy.
Moral: Long-distance relationships won't work without both parties giving it there all. Relationships take work sometimes, and when it's a long-distance situation, make sure that's what the both of you want and work at it. It will work then with the proper type of communication.
It's funny how we could talk for hours and hours and still not communicate. Weird.
